The Naughty Bits!

The Naughty Bits! know how to DO IT! The glam-rock influenced band who takes themselves not so seriously, takes their crowd quite seriously. Always throwing the party they’d want to go to themselves, every performance is full of medleys and mash-ups that run the gamut. From Rock n’ Roll via David Bowie era, to Funk Sly style, to bitchin’ 80’s New Wave like B-52’s. “They don’t do it anymore, but The Naughty Bits! do.”

Greasy McGhee
May 5 @ 8:00 pm – 10:00 pm

Putting the “Rascal” back in Rock, Greasy McGhee is a homegrown, all original band with a truckload of swagger!

Greasy McGhee features Nick James Michael adding vocals and the kind of lead guitar that just begs for some deep listening.  Mike “King Daddy” Morris on vocals, harmonica, percussion and rhythm guitar.  Michael McDonald is featured on bass and vocals with Matt Bell, the drummer for the band formerly known as the “Knuckleheads” rounding out this fabulously talented foursome featuring all original tunes.

That’s right, while it seems most folks were doubled up in the fetal position during covid, we were all busy writing music!  Now it’s your turn to come out and support singer/songwriting artists performing live.

Greasy McGhee is on Facebook!

Heavy Souls @ The Spirit Room

Heavy Souls @ The Spirit Room

Heavy Soul is a musical trio comprised of Nick Canuel on guitar, Darryl Icard from Combo Deluxe and Gabriel Rhodes from Well Dressed Wolves.  Two amazing bands that highlight both of their musical skills.

Nick Canuel plays it tough & dirty on that lead guitar while Darryl plays monster bass and adds vocals and harmonies as well.  Gabe kicks it on drums/vocals.

This should be an afternoon full of fun, dancing and creative musical choices.

About S.E.Willis:
“A commanding singer and keyboardist (piano, organ, and accordion) who delivers classic and original material with conviction and authenticity.”
Lee Hildebrand, East Bay Express

s.e. willis playing the harmonica in concertS.E.Willis, originally from West Virginia, has been playing the piano and harmonica since the age of six, and organ and accordion since his teens.  He started playing in rock and roll bands along Arizona’s stretch of Route 66 in 1967.  Willis’ music is deeply rooted in traditional American forms: blues, boogie-woogie, country, rockabilly, gospel, zydeco. A veteran band leader, S.E. (Steve) Willis has taken a supporting role in bands with such artists as Chuck Berry, Bo Diddly, Albert King, Jimmy Rogers, Roy Gaines, and, since 2000, Elvin Bishop (his accordion features prominently on the 2014 release “Can’t Even Do Wrong Right”).

S.E.Willis sang tenor with the Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir and appeared on their 1995 release “We’ve Come a Mighty Long Way.”  He worked another three years with founding Meters’ member and New Orleans drumming legend Joseph “Zigaboo” Modeliste, and plays piano on his solo release Zigaboo.com.

Willis has released seven CDs of original and classic material: Airn Beats Nairn, 1999; Luckiest Man Alive, 2002; Cold Hand In Mine, 2003, Taproot, 2007; Pass the Hat, 2013; Turtle Dove Bounce/Live at the Poor House, 2015; Too Much Love (S.E.Willis and the Willing), 2019.

Pat Beary
May 12 @ 8:00 pm – 10:00 pm

pat beary on stage performing with his bandEverybody has a story. Pat Beary has been telling his from behind a guitar for a long time now. Songs that tell secrets. Sometimes we whisper, sometimes we howl. Take everything you think you know about singer songwriters…and rip it up. With that old guitar he creates a performance with a depth that is compelling and passionate. Be it to two hundred people or twenty, he engages the crowd night after night.

With the rare ability to speak to the soul with his expressive and poignant lyrics, Pat Beary is an artist you don’t want to miss.
