Karl Jones’ last live double album “Spirit Room” has 11 download hits on Spotify. This well-known guitarist has an Irish brewery/Temple Lane Dublin upbringing and specializes in a unique mix of blues/jazz influences and Celtic flavored Americana. His latest original, Spanish Armada recorded by Tim Jessup, has had radio play on Gulch Radio. His originals are found on You tube at Karl Jones music.
Karl Jones is from Dublin Ireland and has been living and working as a tour guide in Sedona for years. He is an accomplished singer / songwriter / guitarist with radio and television appearances in both Ireland and the US to his credit.
Karl had a chance meeting with Thomas Banyacya, a Hopi Elder, in 1996 after an American concert at George Washington University in Washington DC. Thomas was on a speaking tour of the East Coast, teaching the public about Hopi spirituality and world view. Their meeting led to an invitation to Arizona to visit the Hopi Reservation, and Karl discovered Sedona along the way.

Born in the Verde Valley of Arizona, The Invincible Grins fuse eclecticism with unbridled enthusiasm, creating a unique and danceable style of sweaty rock and roll. Marrying strong and original songwriting with undeniable groove, the Grins draw inspiration from such artists as Tom Waits, Woody Guthrie, Andrew Bird, Talking Heads, Morphine, and Goran Bregovic, and have also been accused of sounding like “Gogol Bordello meets Fleetwood Mac.” Their music has been described as “funked-up folk”, “Gypsybilly”, and simply, “…like fun!” No matter what moniker is applied, one thing is for sure: The Invincible Grins are upbeat music for a beat up world. They remind you to have a drink and dance. Take it easy. Brace yourself. Everything’s gonna be alright!
The Help is a band formed in the underbelly of the Verde Valley, only breaching the surface, to dance, make love, and party with the undead. The word is that if you dress as a Zombie for this event, you will have access to Zombie Happy Hour Prices! Is it a thing? Dare we even ask? Every Dressed-Up Zombie deserves Happiness in our humble opinion.
A super group formed by local legends, bringing you music that you can dance to and lyrics that make second guess every decision you’ve ever made, with Nick on acoustic guitar and vocals, Tara on vocals, Jesse on bass, DJ on lead guitar and Jason on drums.

Join us each and every Monday evening, beginning April 14 for Karaoke by KJ Tay! What? You don’t know what Karaoke is?
Time to find out! From Wikipedia:
“Karaoke is a type of interactive entertainment system usually offered in clubs and bars, where people sing along to pre-recorded accompaniment using a microphone. Its musical content is an instrumental rendition of a well-known popular song. In recent times, lyrics are typically displayed on a video screen, along with a moving symbol, changing colour, or music video images, to guide the singer.”
Sounds easy enough, right? You know you want to do it.
